A lifelong Auburn resident, Betty grew up in the community she continues to call home. She lives in Auburn, Alabama, with her husband, Carl Ryberg, and their two children—a 13-year-old attending East Samford Middle School and a 21-year-old currently in college.
Betty is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn, where she finds inspiration and fulfillment in faith and service.
